We stayed at the hostel last August and despite the
hot weather it was a comfortable and very cheap accommodation.
The hostel is quite small though but located at less
than a kilometer from the train station. It's not exactly
a palace, but it has high cealings that make it seem
a little bigger than it is. The rooms have 6 beds each
(combination of bunk beds and regular beds). The only
common space is a small room with a kitchen. Overall
it's a nice place where to meet other fun people!

A group of us stayed
there last summer (2003). The rooms were fairly clean
and we always managed to take showers. The stuff was
friendly and helpful when asking for information. The
great thing is that the Internet is Free and that we
could look for all the information we wanted to find
about Rome.

I was in the hostel
Michelangelo Palace last September. It was a pleasant
experience for many reasons:
The rooms are fairly big and I was
happy to have the space I had. They clean the rooms
quite often as well, so that its good. Especially in
hot weather. Baths fairly clean.
The breakfast is included and its very yummy, althought
the cafè is closed on Sundays. The staff of the
hostel was helpful and I made friends as well which I
still keep in touch with. Its a great deal if you don't
expect it to be a Palace but a very cheap accommodation!
